21 Year old designer to have her eco-dress worn on the Red Carpet

Avatar took this year’s box office by storm and now the film is up for a number of Academy Awards. On March 7th when the Academy Awards are being handed out, James Cameron’s wife, actress Suzy Amis Cameron will be wearing an eco-friendly dress designed from a college student.
The student is Jillian Granz, who is only 21 years old and is a senior at Michigan State University. Granz’s design was chosen as the winner of a contest called, ‘Red Carpet, Green Dress,’ that Amis Cameron held in order to bring awareness and funds to a California elementary school that she co-founded.
Now the young green designer is going to realize the dream of a lifetime and have her eco-friendly fashion design worn on the biggest stage; the Red Carpet. And what will the dress look like? Well you’ll have to tune into the famous award show to find out! Both Granz and Amis Cameron are keeping the design hush hush until the big day.
EcoZeal.com is thrilled that both Hollywood and college students alike are showing some very green initiative. Hopefully there will be some hub-bub about the dress worn by Amis Cameron so that there will be a good amount of eco-friendly awareness gained with the wearing.
