Wile shopping for some eco-friendly clothing I was truly disturbed at something I witnessed. Here at a store that was selling clothing that is better for the environment was a person carrying out some of the clothing in a plastic bag. I sort of chuckled and thought that I now had seen it all – but then I felt disturbed.

I can understand the less educated person that works at the store and probably doesn’t care too much about the environment putting the clothes in the plastic bag but I couldn’t get how the person buying the eco-friendly clothing would accept it. So is born this post with a message…BYOEB.

Bring your own eco bag. There are so many of you doing it at the grocery stores now why not extend that courtesy to the earth when shopping for your eco-friendly fashions? It really requires little effort on your part as you know and the results over time will be staggering.

I don’t typically go off on tangents like this but I figured that if you are green wise enough to be shopping in an eco-friendly store that you are green wise enough to use an eco bag. That said EcoZeal.com urges everyone to get an eco bag or two or three. There are many cool designs and styles to choose from so you really don’t have an excuse not to.
