California surf and sport designer O’Neill goes green

Irving California based company O’Neill is known for some really cool surf and sport designs. Now the company aims to be known for its green designs as well.
The ECO’Neill collection will be marketed towards men and is due to come out next spring. The line will include eco-friendly fashion by the way of t-shirts, beanies, and even tank tops. All the products of the ECO’Neill line will be made of such eco-friendly materials as organic cotton.
To further push their eco-savvy agenda the company also said it intends on having men’s board shorts available in time for the launch of the line as well. These eco-friendly board shorts will be made using a slew of eco-friendly materials including recycled plastic bottles.
To help promote the line O’Neill has hired reggae star Mishka to help spread the green word. EcoZeal.com is happy to see all the big names in almost every industry imaginable putting out eco-friendly fashion lines. Hopefully more big names will follow suit and continue the plight.
Remember that the world in which we live will only be good to us if we are good to her. Keep thinking green and next spring start buying ECO’Neill!
