Eighth annual Green Festival takes over San Francisco
This past weekend San Francisco was taken over in a very green way when the eighth annual Green Festival was held on November 13th to the 15th and featured over 125 guest speakers and over 350 exhibitioners that all had booths set up to raise awareness on such eco-friendly items as food, wine, and yes clothing too.
Everywhere you looked was found a booth set up to showthe various benifits of some type of sustainable textile such as hemp, organic cotton, and even free range wool.
Thousands of people flocked in and out and the organizers declared the event to be a smashing success. EcoZeal.com is excited to see so many turn out to learn about all the different eco-friendly fashions and other items that are just a bit kinder to our planet.
The Green Festivalwas truly an amazing event and had something for the entire family including a kid’s fun zone that featured such events as home made butter classes and a battle of the good guys versus the bad guys in a fight for the environment.
If you didn’t get to go this year, be sure to earmark your calendar for next year as the event organizers are already beginning to plan for next year and aim to make the festival better than ever before. Way to go Green Festival!
