When you think about it the youth of today has a great advantage over us in the fact that if we as adults properly teach them they can grow up eco-friendly. Lessons from adults will always dictate the next generation’s behavior and now that we all know better, we need to teach better as well.

I can remember watching my dad poor his old motor oil into the woods next door to our house because he didn’t know any better. Once he found out how detrimental to the Earth that could be he began to dispose of it properly and explained to me why he changed his way of thinking. The same lessons can be applied to eco-friendly fashion.

It isn’t just enough to simply wear the eco-friendly clothing made out of organic cotton or hemp, but we must also teach our children why we dress in such a way. By dressing our kids in green fashion and educating them on the importance at the same time they will grow up green and more than likely share their eco-savvy knowledge to their children and so on and so on.
