Icebreaker gets lucky break with Palin photo

palinLast week when Sarah Palin graced the cover of Newsweek magazine an eco-friendly company called Icebreaker got a really nice surprise. Low and behold Palin was wearing a red long-sleeved chase zip that was from the Icebreaker line.

Icebreaker is from New Zealand and there running tops are made from free range wool, which is derived from sheep that are raise on the country’s southern Alps. While it is not known if Palin was making as a statement by wearing the eco-friendly fashion Icebreaker sure took advantage of the fact that she was.

Icebreaker put out a press release talking about the fact that the former Alaska Governor was wearing one of their garments and that more people should switch from the traditional running tops, which contain oils, to one of their more earth friendly running tops.

EcoZeal.com is glad to see a high profile person like Palin wearing a green piece of clothing - even if she didn’t mean too. Hopefully the attention drawn from the photo will be positive towards our planet and bring a big push towards more Earth friendly fashions.

You can check out all the eco-fashions that Icebreaker has to offer, including the piece that Palin wore in the shoot by visiting their website or by clicking here.
