Intersoft Asia Essential exhibiton highlights eco-friendly textiles
Recently in Hong Kong, buyers from some of the biggest names in the fashion industry showed up at the Intersoff Asia Essential exhibition to see the latest in sustainable eco-friendly materials. Names such as Levi Strauss, GAP, Adidas, Burberry, Chistian Doir, and more all showed up to see what the world of Earth conscious fabrics is all about.
The turnout was simply amazing and saw 6,422 visitors from 44 different countries and regions. This year, the event got an additional shot in the arm with a special pavilion set up and organised by Bluesign Technologies that housed several outdoor and high-quality functional fabric suppliers, such as HKT from Hong Kong, Sanitized from Switzerland, Shin Han from Korea, Everest Textile, Labtex, and Premiere Fashion from Taiwan.
The event also featured specail talks from the Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium all aimed at bringing further awareness to eco-friendly fashions. EcoZeal.com is excited to see so many big names coming togehter and taking the time to learn about all the advantages that green fashions have to offer.
Remember, we only get one Earth and we have to do all we can to ensure that it is going to be around for a very long time to come. Hopefully more in the fashion industry will take the cues of this exhibition and begin to dive deeper into eco-friendly textiles.
