Is the economy hurting eco-friendly fashion buffs?
In recent posts, I have written about how being green is the new in thing to do. It has gained so much momentum that it now seems all those Hollywood starlets who have been jumping on the band wagon, may be getting hurt just a bit.
Many would be eco-friendly fashion designers have been feeling the effects of a reeling economy and this is really no surprise. The problem, it may seem, is that these movie starts think that they can come out with a line of eco-friendly clothing and slap an outrageous price tag on it just because they are who they are.
In good economic times, this may be the perfect thing to do, but when people are hurting the way they are, this is anything but right. Add to that the fact that there are already so many quality eco-friendly fashions that are available all for a great price and what you will begin to see is either a price reduction across the high end boards, or a falling of these companies by the wayside.
EcoZeal.com hopes that everyone will continue the green march that has taken the world by storm as of late. As for the Hollywood starts that have overpriced stuff, you all will either have to conform and get a little more reasonable price wise, or we’ll catch you on the next trend.
