One designer has used her childhood dream of becoming a princess to help inspire a dress that is as alive as you or I. The Sprinkle Dress is exactly what it looks like; a dress that has a number of living plants attached to it.

This dress represents green in the truest sense of the word. The containers that hold the plants are recycled yogurt containers and the garment really seems to be more a statement of life rather than fashion.

EcoZeal.com thinks it is great to see such passion and innovation for the planet on which we live and if nothing else hopefully the Sprinkle Dress will garner a lot of eco-friendly fashion attention. Although you obviously have to water the plants within the dress to make them grow, there is no mention on how to care for the dress itself.

With more designers lending even more inspiration to the world as a whole, before you know it, there will be a lot more eco-savvy people walking around. Once again the world of eco-fashion and sustainable goods comes up with something just a bit off the wall but fun none the less.  Just be sure that you are wearing plants that won’t make your allergies go haywire!
