KidBean.com is an online retailer of organic kids clothing and toys. Soles4Souls is a charitable organization that collects shoes from big companies and distributes them to those in need. Together the two companies have launched an effort to donate one million pairs of shoes to those in Haiti who were affected by the recent devastating earthquake.

For their part in the deal KidBeam.com has already donated 850 pairs of brand new organic children’s shoes that are made with such eco-friendly fashion materials as hemp and organic cotton. The company is also donating bottled water and other such relief supplies to those in need.

EcoZeal.com is touched by this story and hopes that it will motivate others to give what they can in the relief effort, but to do so in an eco-friendly way if possible. This type of unity and togetherness is just what the doctor ordered for our planet and it is great to see two selfless organizations give in a very green way. Hopefully these new eco-shoes will bring just a bit of sunshine to the people of Haiti who have endured so much over the past few weeks.
