Levis invites you to air dry for CASH
How inventive are you? If you can put your imagination to work and come up with a stylish and sensible way to air dry your blue jeans then there is a chance for you to win some big bucks.
Levi Strauss, the maker of jeans and other apparel is holding a contest for just that. They are challenging the notion that clotheslines are unsightly and should therefore not be used to dry clothing. The company points out that the energy wasted when drying jeans is great and thus the reason for them wanting to find a solution.
The contest, which is being dubbed Care Air Design Challenge, will see the lucky winner pocket ten grand in cash and have their idea featured in ads and other promotions. EcoZeal.com urges all eco-friendly inventors to put their thinking caps on and give it a go. You never know, you might just find yourself in the money.
The promotion is just what the green doctor ordered.
