Make some green and be green with your kid’s older clothing

recWhat do you do with your kid’s clothing from last year? They can’t use the items anymore because they have grown, but that doesn’t mean that someone else can’t use them.

In fact, you can make a good little bit of green by being green and gathering up all of your children’s clothing that are too small and selling them to others. Places such as Craigslist and eBay are the perfect outlets to unload some older clothes and make some money in the process.

Of course you want to be sure that the clothes are still in good shape. Even if they aren’t, don’t throw them out. You can always upcycle the tattered pieces of clothing and make rags. Either way, give your kid’s old clothing new life.

EcoZeal.com hopes that all who read this will take the time to actually go through their kid’s old clothes and try to make a little bit of money for themselves. While it is not the same eco-friendly fashion sense as buying eco-silk or organic cotton, it is still eco-friendly. And in today’s world, who couldn’t use a couple extra bucks? Keep the green movement moving forward and never waste if you don’t have to.
