P. Diddy taking Sean John green - sort of
P. Diddy is attempting to show that he too can think green and is launching a line of Sean John satellite stores that will feature recycled materials for the furniture and fixtures. While the items for sale will not be of the eco-friendly persuasion perhaps that is next on the list for the rapping mogul.
Diddy opened his first of what he says will be many Sean John satellite stores in Miami Beach and the 2500 square foot store has all of its furniture and fixtures made from eco-friendly materials, mostly recyclables. The store will be open for the rest of February and Diddy has not yet announced where the next Sean John will open. Wherever it is you can almost bet that it will be in a high profile place just like Miami Beach which will be wonderful in the effort to spread the green word.
Hopefully more big shots in the music industry will take a cue from Diddy. Though he has not gone 100 percent in the eco-friendly fashion direction, he has taken the first step and EcoZeal.com commends him for it because we all have to start somewhere. There are far too many with too much influence doing nothing at all. Way to go P. Diddy!
