Time to think green and not just talk it
While walking through the mall yesterday in an attempt to get some presents for the upcoming holiday season I was struck by how many people were actually there and how many bags and boxes were being carried out of the stores. Then I wondered how many of the fashions in those bags were eco-friendly.
Now I’ve heard the pundits say that buying green fashion such as eco-frindly silk, hemp, organic cotton, organic wool, bamboo fabric and other such materials is too expensive. Have you seen the prices for the department store non Earth friendly clothging lately? Then I hear that eco fashion is too hard to come by. Ever heard of the Internet? The lines are a lot shorter then at the malls.
What it all boils down to really is that we all need to start to think green - all the time. We can no longer just say, ‘Go green,’ our actions need to dictate it.
