Imagine being able to take old discarded plastic water bottles and being able to use them for fabric. Think of all the space that would save in our landfills around the world.

Well imagination has once again turned into reality and a company in Manila is doing what sounds to be impossible and taking plastic bottles and turning them into fabric. By doing so, the company Revolve is changing the way that many manufacturers will view plastic bottles. According to the company this method is beginning to catch on and there are quite a few big name corporations looking into this process.

So successful is Revolve’s method that they were selling souvenir T-shirts at the 2010 Olympic Games that were made of this new type of recycled material. Talk about an effective way to recycle plastic bottles!

EcoZeal.com thinks this type of innovative thinking is just what the doctor ordered for the planet and hopes that it will in fact catch on as fast Revolve seems to think it will. We only get one planet and if we all work together by wearing eco-friendly clothing and fashions that are made up of recycled materials then the planet is likely to stay around for a very long time.
