One of the biggest players in the industrial clothing industry just got a green vote of confidence. It was recently announced that Cintas, which provides thousands of companies with uniforms, received an eco-friendly award from the magazine Apparel.

The award is officially called the ‘Sustainability All-Star Award’ and it was awarded to Cintas by the magazine for their eco-friendly fashion concepts. Along with the many products that Cintas has to offer, they carry eco-friendly apparel that is sustainable, stylish, and cozy as well. With each ‘suit’ that is made over 25 plastic bottles are kept from landing in the landfills.

While making clothing using post consumer products such as recycled plastic bottles is not a new idea, Cintas is by far one of the biggest companies to implement the strategy. When you add up the many ‘eco-suits’ that they will sell you get one great big saving for the Earth.
