If you are a woman then nail polish is a way of life. Nail polish is a way to be expressive about your mood or is the perfect finishing piece to coordinate your entire look with the greatest of ease. But wearing nail polish is literally like wearing chemicals and the stuff is not so eco-friendly. Enter water-based nail polish.

You know that smell you can’t stand when applying your nail polish? That is in fact the almost 70 percent of chemicals that are evaporating into the environment and though not a lot at one time, the chemical release is not good for the Earth.  In fact nail polish is so laden with chemicals it is classified as dangerous goods.  Not so with water-based nail polish.

Water-based nail polish is, well water based, and therefore it is only water that will be evaporating into the environment when you put it on. Additionally it is much safer to use and to store.

EcoZeal.com knows that women are women and it’s not like you are going to stop using nail polish but hey, if you can wear some that makes a nice fashion statement and an eco-savvy statement at the same time, then the entire better.  Once again, no matter what the fashion is that you desire there is almost always an eco-friendly and green counterpart that can be found. You just need to use some tenacity in the process.
