It may be that clothing made up of such materials as hemp, organic cotton, organic silk, bamboo fabric, and other eco-friendly materials are so hot because many Hollywood starlets are promoting it. Not only are they dressing in a more green fashion and really bragging about the fact that they are, but many of them are also putting their money where their mouth is and starting a line of eco-friendly clothing.

Another factor that seems to be contributing to the current hot streak that eco-fashion is enjoying is the Internet. Information and products are literally at your fingertips and always a few simple mouse clicks away.

But the biggest reason for eco-fashion becoming as hot as it has is the fashion itself. Gone are the days of burlap and tie-die and today’s eco-fashion is just as good looking, if not better, than the fashions that are not so kind to Mother Earth.
